
Join Fairfield First Fridays, June 6th, for the first outdoor event of the season. Fairfield First Fridays is having a Party in Central Park, with live music, lawn games, vendors, artists, and some community togetherness.
There will be live music by The Roman Cadillacs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., enjoy some Rock n’ Roll from a great, local Fairfield band. Come celebrate the warmer weather, enjoy Central Park and the Fairfield Square.
Collector Cars Unlimited will have a car cruise from 5-8pm on the square that night as well!
This year there will be the usual lawn games, Giant Jenga, Outdoor Connect Four, the giant foam building blocks and other activities. Bring your friends for a little friendly competition!
Grab your lawn chairs, your kids, and your friends, and come spend some time celebrating the beginning of the summer season with us!!

Also, showing original oil paintings by Kim Kufner, original graphite works of art by Dale Divoky featuring his koi fish designs, Original watercolor and ink paintings by Genevra Bell, Art Glass Vases by David Lotton, Leaping Koi sculptures by Dale Divoky, Kristin Ford’s Jewelry with Meaning, many of which are one of a kind, and Custom dichroic glass jewelry by Pedro Lujano. Behner Funeral Home-203 S. Main St.- Susan Shafer will be displaying Mark Shafer's artwork. Refreshments will be provided. Open from 6-7:30, for Fairfield First Fridays Art Walk.
Carnegie Historical Museum 112 S. Court St. Heritage Farms of Jefferson County. Open 6-8pm. The Carnegie Historical Museum will be highlighting one Heritage Farm per month. Heritage Farms are those which have been in the same family for 150 years of more. Jefferson County has fourteen farms which have received this recognition. The museum has established a special exhibit case so that each family, in rotation, will have the opportunity to share their story and display their special artifacts. Each Heritage Farm will have their display for a one-month time period and the following month’s First Friday will feature the next honored farm family. This Month’s Family is the McCracken family farm exhibit.
Cindy's Art Supply Store and Henderson's Gallery -53 W. Broadway Ave. open from 1 - 5, and again from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. Many of the artists in the Square One Arts collective have changed out their art, so there's lots of new pieces to view Always a great place to stop in, grab your supplies and see all of the new pieces! Extra markdown on all writing tools (pens, pencils, markers) just during ArtWalk.
Fairfield Art Association (Inside the Civic Center)- The Fairfield Art Association announces a new exhibit, "Fairfield Iconic" by photographer Guy Harvey. The exhibit of 20 photographs will take place in the Hallway Gallery in the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center, opening on Friday, June 6th, from 6 to 9 PM. The artist will be present to talk about his photography during his opening reception.
This exhibit will be showing through June and July and is sure to bring back some downtown Fairfield memories. The Main Gallery continues the oil and watercolor exhibit by Michael Canas. FAA exhibits can also be viewed during the FA&CC business hours Monday - Friday from 9 AM - 5PM.
Haveda Health and Wholeness- 52 & 54 S. Main St.- "A Dream of Trust and Miracles" by Ruta Matuleviciute at Haveda Health & Wholeness (6–8:30 pm; artist present 7:30–8:30 pm). This exhibition features surreal, mythological, and Fairfield-inspired works by Lithuanian painter Ruta Matuleviciute. A member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Association, Matuleviciute has exhibited at ArtVilnius, London Art Fair, and Stockholm’s Supermarket Art Fair, and was honored with the Dalia and Gintaras Gruodis Award for artistic excellence. Her luminous, dreamlike works merge magical realism with deep cultural and individual symbolism. Discover stories traveling across cultures in Matuleviciute's blue works.
ICON Gallery- 58 N. Main St. Continuing in the main gallery: Sliding Parameters Fiber Art and Fashion by Judy Bales. Continuing the Hudson Gallery: Tantra Art from Udaipur. First Friday hours: 6:30 to 10:00.
Petal-100 N. 2nd St. - Come enjoy a Mardi Gras theme at Petal. There will be a Face painter doing masquerade masks, a cake maker/chef, and other activities! Stop by for a visit!
Wanderer’s Haul- 206 S. Main St.-Open and hosting a prerelease tournament at 6:30pm for the Magic the Gathering Final Fantasy set. Stop in and see their fantastic new location!
